Livraria Lello – a very popular bookstore in Porto. To get into the store, you need to stand in a long line. There is an entrance fee to the store, in September 2023 the it cost 8 euros. You can choose a book from the store’s special collection for this fee. If you do not want to stand in line, you can pay 16 euros.
The Lello bookshop was opened in 1906.
Tickets are sold on the store’s website, and QR codes with links to purchase tickets are also posted near the store.

I didn’t want to stand in line, so I paid 16 euros-ticket and then used the voucher to buy an edition of Romeo and Juliet.
There are a lot of people in the store, and they all come here to take pictures on the red stairs.
