Esposende is a charming coastal town located in the north of Portugal. Situated at the mouth of the Cavado River, it offers a unique blend of natural beauty and historical charm.
Let’s take a walk around Esposende at sunset.
Monument Homem do Mar – To the Men of the Sea – I have seen similar monuments in all the coastal towns.

R. Santa Maria dos Anjos street and Igreja Matriz de Santa Maria dos Anjos church

The Esposende promenade is equipped for various types of leisure – there are paths for cyclists, runners, and just for walking

There are colored paths like these on the promenade.

There are drinking bowls for pets with funny pictures

A reminder to clean up after your pets

This is a special place for bird watching.

I had dinner at a restaurant Good, I ordered a Caesar salad and beer, it cost 15.4 euros
Beer in Portugal
The local beer in Portugal is called Super Bock and is served everywhere. It comes in light (in red bottles), in blue bottles – non-alcoholic, and in black bottles stout – dark. I liked the dark one, that is stout, the most.
